This product has not been built. We are only finding out whether accounting firms would want it. Leaving your details puts you on a list. It is not a live service.

Idea stage

Stop chasing clients for missing receipts.

Slipnudge is a product idea for small accounting firms in the UK and Ireland. It does not exist. We are considering it. If you would want it, leave an email address and your firm name, and we will write to you if the project moves forward.

There is no date and no promise that it will be built.

Free. Nothing is built yet.

01 / Problem

Month end turns into a chasing job

The bank statement arrives. Some lines have no receipt or invoice. Someone emails the client, then reminds them, then reminds them again. Replies come as photos, forwards and half answers. All of it then has to be matched and keyed in.

The work is not hard. It is slow, repetitive and easy to lose track of.

02 / The idea

What we are thinking about

A tool that would compare a client's bank statement with their receipts and invoices, remind the client about what is missing, and pass the matched set to Xero or QuickBooks for you to review. That is a description of an idea, not of software that exists.

A sketch of the idea. It is not a screenshot. No such software exists.

Xero and QuickBooks are named only to describe software we might connect to. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Xero or Intuit, and have no agreement with either.

03 / Who it is for

Small firms that do monthly bookkeeping for clients

  • Accounting and bookkeeping firms in the UK and Ireland.
  • Firms whose clients use Xero or QuickBooks.
  • Teams that spend real hours each month asking clients for documents.

It is probably not for you if you need something that works today, or if your clients do not use Xero or QuickBooks.
